Under the deal, the Vikings will donate an undisclosed sum of money to five gay rights-related charities over the next five years. Kluwe said he wont receive any money as part of the settlement. So far, hes playing like his picture.WHERE YOU SHOULD DRIVE ITThis car is about as flashy as flashy gets, and Im not sure if thats a good thing. Its definitely not a car you want to leave alone in a dark parking lot. Having said that, this is a perfect car to get out of if you happen to be walking a red carpet at a TIFF premiere in Toronto. Lets not forget that this is a true "Grand Touring" car, which means its meant to be driven long distances. A nice cruise along anything west coast should suffice. SOUNDTRACK FOR THE RIDEI wanted to suggest a popular German band for this part, but all I could come up with was the band Rammstein, and we all know that wont work. If you must listen to music while you drive and not the beautiful sounds coming from the biturbo V8, might I suggest something chill, like some old-school Groove Armada. But lets be honest here, the radio should be turned off so you can hear the two internally mounted turbochargers spool up at high RPMs. FUN FACTSThis could easily be the longest part of this article becausse Mercedes has put a ton of tech into this car.dddddddddddd The body shell of the car only weighs 509 pounds, which is unbelievably light for a car with these kinds of performance numbers. Not to mention its only 194 pounds more than our very own Darren Dutchyshen can bench. If you decide to purchase the GT S model, make sure you opt for the "AMG Dynamic Plus" package. This will get you what Mercedes-AMG is calling dynamic engine and transmission mounts. These mounts continuously adjust their stiffness in respect to how the car is being driven. If you drive slow, the mounts become soft thus eliminating unwanted sounds and vibrations. If you ever find yourself on a track and want to test out the corners, the mounts become stiff, which improves handling and agility. Expect the Mercedes-AMG GT S to be released sometime in the spring of 2015. The cheaper model GT will launch the following year. Mercedes has yet to release pricing.
