Ben Stokes is set to miss the rest of Englands Investec Test series with Sri Lanka after suffering a knee injury in the innings and 88-run victory at Headingley. The all-rounder, who had already been replaced by Chris Woakes in the England squad for the second Test at Durham, tweeted an update on his fitness on Monday evening ahead of undergoing surgery on Tuesday.Devastated to be missing the rest of the series, this has been a ongoing issue for 2/3 years which Ive managed to play through until now, he said.
