ASHBURN, Va. -- Washington Redskins defensive end Jason Hatcher says he will have surgery on his left knee and will be sidelined four to six weeks. Hatcher said Wednesday he will have an arthroscopic procedure to clean up some cartilage. The injury comes as the Redskins are wrapping up their off-season practices. If the timetable holds, he would be able to practice around the start of training camp on July 23. Hatcher wore a compression wrap around his left leg as he watched Wednesdays minicamp session. Hatcher signed a four-year, $27.5 million contract with the Redskins in March as a free agent from the Dallas Cowboys. . Its the second of three meetings between these teams this season. Vancouver was a 2-1 winner on home ice December 22nd. . "I only want to go through this one more time," Crosby said Friday. The 24-year-old captain hasnt played since the symptoms resurfaced following a loss to Boston on Dec. 5. Ive got a frame and stature that can blend in sometimes with some of the guys, and its a great opportunity to go out there and skate with them.Indeed, the 5-foot-10 Knights speed and size allowed her to blend in seamlessly with the two-time Pacific Division champion Ducks. Her whip-quick wrist shot impressed Anaheim coach Bruce Boudreau, who has never watched a womens hockey game live.I was really pleasantly surprised at her skill, Boudreau said. Once she got over the jitters, I think she was really good.
