The Saskatchewan Roughriders have called a news conference for Wednesday when it is expected wide receiver Geroy Simon will announce his retirement. According to TSNs Farhan Lalji, Simon will remain with the Roughriders in a front office capacity. The 38-year-old will retire as a member of the Roughriders after spending just one season in Saskatchewan, and winning his third Grey Cup in the process. Simon spent most of his 15-year career with the British Columbia Lions, winning Grey Cups in 2006 and 2011. He spent the first two seasons of his career with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
