Bell hyperextended the knee in Sundays victory over the Cincinnati Bengals and has yet to participate in practice this week as the team prepares to host the Baltimore Ravens in a wild-card game Saturday night. Finishing the season as the NFLs second-leading rusher with 1,361 yards, Bell suffered the injury in the third quarter after taking a helmet to the knee from Cincinnati safety Reggie Nelson. The Steelers brought in running back Ben Tate on Tuesday for insurance. Tate spent time with both Cleveland and Minnesota this season.
